In 1924, Gerald Brown, from Ohio, formally established the Crescent Lazy H Ranch. It opened for guests in 1927. In the following almost 100 years, it has been tested by the Depression, World War II and various other challenges. The 1,300-acre Crescent H Ranch has had several owners, has been a guest ranch for “dudes,” a family retreat, a fishing destination and now is a private enclave treasured by its many homeowners.
